WHY YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a great way to slow down. With our busy modern lifestyles, is it easy to burn out or experience adrenal fatigue. It can be difficult to slow down and switch off. Yin yoga actually helps get us out of that fight or flight mode and switches on our parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for regulating our natural rhythms and allowing us to relax.
It complements more intense physical exercise or sports training by stretching the muscles and opening up the joints. Incorporating yin yoga into your health and fitness regime can also prevent injury and assist with rehabilitation.
By introducing restorative practices like yin yoga into your weekly or daily routine you may experience feeling calmer and less bothered by day to day stresses, have better mobility, experience more restful sleep and a greater sense of general well-being.
Being a small space, we can accommodate 8-10 students per class allowing more one on one attention from our teachers. Our classes can accommodate to all levels of experience.
